Welcome to Cherry Burton Church of England Primary School Website

 

Cherry Burton School is a Church of England Primary School set at the heart of a beautiful East Riding village approximately three miles from the county town of Beverley.

 

We are a friendly, welcoming and inclusive school where every child receives the best possible education, tailored to meet his or her needs, in a safe and caring environment. Our practice is underpinned by Christian values and we take pride in our strong links with St Michael’s Church.

 

We see learning as a life-long process and aim to instil in our pupils excitement, curiosity and a thirst for learning, giving them “Roots to grow and wings to fly”.

 

Our curriculum is broad, stimulating and enquiry-based, and we offer a good range of physical activities both within the curriculum and as extra curricular provision.

 

We value the support and contribution of parents and carers and aim to work alongside them as partners in their child’s education.
