  • Hull City Hall Showcase

Fri 20 Nov 2015 Miss Jackson

On Wednesday 18th November pupils from Year 6 and our school choir performed at Hull City Hall for the Showcase event. We also managed a sneaky trip to the Maritime museum in between our rehearsals.  For the show the choir sang a medley of songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber's musicals and Year 6 shared their learning of America through dance. Everyone performed brilliantly - well done! A special thank you to Miss Katie for choreographing and practising the dance with Y6 and thank you also to Mrs Dave for her hard work with the choir.

Fri 13 Nov 2015 Miss Jackson
Hooray!! We have been awarded the Silver Modeshift Award for the school's work on increasing levels of active travel in order to improve the health and well-being of all our pupils. The JRSO's did a fantastic job at organising a range of events last year and we are thrilled to have been awarded the silver level.  Mrs Rowley, Mrs Watson and the Y5/6 JRSO's went to County Hall to collect the award at a special presentation lunch. Well done everyone!
  • Children in Need

Fri 13 Nov 2015 Miss Jackson
Children came dressed as heroes or people who inspire them to raise money for Children in Need. Reception and Year 1 worked alongside Year 6 for a morning of Pudsey fun! They decorated buns for every child in the school and created a huge Pudsey out of natural  materials. Take a look at their fantastic costumes!
