House Captains

At our school, we believe in giving children meaningful opportunities to develop leadership, responsibility and pride in their school community. Our House Captains play an important role in helping to lead and organise our four school houses: Birch, Ash, Willow and Oak. These houses reflect our rural surroundings and link closely with our Forest School provision, celebrating the natural environment that is such an important part of our school life.

House Captains are chosen from the older pupils in the school and act as role models for the rest of the children. They help to set up the hall for house events and assemblies, support staff in keeping track of house points and collate the weekly totals. They also have the exciting responsibility of sharing the results with the school and sometimes leading or contributing to assemblies.

In addition, House Captains help to organise behaviour treats and rewards for the winning house, encouraging pupils to demonstrate our school values and work together as a team. Through this role, pupils develop confidence, organisation and leadership skills while helping to build a strong sense of belonging and teamwork across the school.

Meet this years fabulous House Captains...
